My Oregon Trail

Jim and I have been married nearly a generation now and with God’s blessing we’ll be united my remaining days of breath. It has been quite a journey he and I have weathered, it make the trek on the Oregon Trail look like a stroll through the park (ok, it was a gi-humungous, wet, bitterly cold, small pox infested trail but you get the point). It’s been and interesting snapshot in social science how blended family dynamics impact the mind, body and spirit….of everyone. While I was uncertain how children from a previous relationship would impact our Universe I was ready and willing to tackle any obstacle large or small, physical or spiritual. It was the longest wrestling tournament ever imagined, and Jesus was the coach. It was up to me (us) to listen and employ the skills, advice and instruction of my coach. My desire for this cyber journal to actively process and find meaning in this voyage I’ve been on and be a wealthier human with a deeper understanding of this life experience.

Beautiful babies

As Angels float about the planet,
if we are deeply blessed, one or
two will sprinkle Stardust on our
spirits giving reason to smile or
perhaps even bubble a giggle.

Thank-you God.

As life unfolds on the City Farm

I’ve considered articulating my thoughts on a blog for sometime, however, it felt intimidating and overwhelming until my girly-friend; Jolene turned some of the mystery into opportunity. Thanks missy Jo! As I collect my rambling thoughts attempting to formulate a meaningful contribution to the Universe, I realize I need to isolate one day from the other and admit a week isn’t just one long day with several brief naps. My hope is this blog-ride is a fun, fulfilling journey. Let the fun begin.
