Jim and I have been married nearly a generation now and with God’s blessing we’ll be united my remaining days of breath. It has been quite a journey he and I have weathered, it make the trek on the Oregon Trail look like a stroll through the park (ok, it was a gi-humungous, wet, bitterly cold, small pox infested trail but you get the point). It’s been and interesting snapshot in social science how blended family dynamics impact the mind, body and spirit….of everyone. While I was uncertain how children from a previous relationship would impact our Universe I was ready and willing to tackle any obstacle large or small, physical or spiritual. It was the longest wrestling tournament ever imagined, and Jesus was the coach. It was up to me (us) to listen and employ the skills, advice and instruction of my coach. My desire for this cyber journal to actively process and find meaning in this voyage I’ve been on and be a wealthier human with a deeper understanding of this life experience.

You have run the race with much love, support, band-aids, meds and limited therapy... you love for your family is unconditional and strong.
Yet you still find so much within yourself to offer to the world.
Proving a long journey to be worth all it takes!
Nice to meet you! Also, glad that JJ got you blogging.
Nice to meet you, City Farm Girl! I look forward to reading about your journey.
